We, all humans are blessed with the gift of God that keep on giving, like land that grows, water that flows and air fresh enough it breathes life and more and more and more. But, humans hate each other, kill each other, envy one another......and we cover our God given light.

It looks to me, some people in this world will do or try anything to get to the top by any means necessary. look at the world history and you will not find a whole lot of people that made it to the top by the blood and sweat of their own, instead by the unfair discrimination of the masses to benefit the few or the selected ones. This bad but addictive human nature drags itself from generation to generation and will continue regardless.

What is sad about this whole unholy character of humans is not the fact that it exists; But it flourishes by hiding itself under clever techniques like "political correctness" , sweet talk, rugged scholarship and two faceness.

Look at the tree in the picture. It is not only the top flowery part is beautiful but the lower part too. If we human wake up from this selfish nightmare of life and look at the world for what it is; we are not only enjoy the beauty of it but how everything we see is beautiful.

They went out to see the fireworks for the new Millennium over the dark skies of Addis Ababa. He hold her hand tight not to lose her in the crowd of spectators, She covered her face with 'netella' and wrapped her body around him staring at the dark skies. When the firework started and everyone around them cheered, they looked at each other’s face, which was glowed with the color of the firework. And they both flew back in memory. They both remembered the long, difficult, bitter and sometimes sweet life they lived in the past 38 years of their life. He remembered the war in which he yanked out of his home and forced to participate. The unemployed life, which took him from house to house to collect garbage so he can make ends meet. His HIV infection. She also remembered her disagreement with her family for being Pentecostal, The abuse she endured by her abusive ex-husband who inherit her HIV. And then they felt thankful for the day they met in the HIV positives shelter. They both felt comfortable sharing their stories to each other, cried in one another’s shoulder and created a bond.

For them the fire works didn't mark the end of sorrow and misery but the continuity of it.

I stared at them, one by one, choosing which planet i will rest in peace. All of them looked hot and unpleasiing..hellish. Then suddenly i heard the nurse saying something to me, waking me up from my nightmare. When i get my consiousness back, I realized if i die, i want to go to a better place rather than the hellish looking planet in my OR TABLE.
